IMF Members, Spraol Linn, will be part of the team to fundraise for Cahore’s New Lifeboat.
On the 22nd of August 2025, crew members Tom O’Connor and Conor Burke will suit up in their offshore rescue gear and spend 24 hours immersed in the waters of Cahore to raise funds for a new lifeboat which will allow Cahore Inshore Rescue Service to remain functioning.
Why They Need Your Help
They’re launching this fundraiser to raise €35,000 for a new rescue boat. Their current boat, while still serving them well, is nearing the end of operational life. This vessel is at the heart of their emergency response — it saves lives, supports local events, and allows them to respond to emergencies along our beautiful coast from Roney Point to Curracloe.
Be Part of Something Lifesaving
Your donation will directly support the purchase of a new rescue boat, allowing us to continue providing this vital service to everyone who swims, sails, surfs or simply enjoys the sea.
Whether it’s €5 or €500, every euro brings us closer to a safer shoreline.
